
Spyros Vangelakis is a painter, graphic designer, and photographer who lives and works between Greece and Sweden.
For more than 30 years, he has worked in photography and graphic design, creating brochures primarily for tourism and cultural promotion. He has collaborated with Cultural Centers, Archaeological Departments, Port Authorities, tourism companies, Prefectures, Municipalities, and magazines. His work has appeared in the newspaper TA NEA, the magazines HELLENIC PANORAMA and THE TOC, the Italian magazines Panorama Travel, Focus, and Camper & Caravan, as well as the Swedish magazine Orkester Journalen, among others.
The 40-page tourist guide of the Prefecture of Ioannina was awarded by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) as the best tourist brochure in Greece for the period 2002–2003. In 2006, the Italian Ministry of Tourism selected his photograph of the Trevi Fountain for a pamphlet promoting Italy worldwide. The tourist guide for Parga, produced for the Scandinavian travel company APOLLO, was voted the company's best guide.
In Stockholm, he has actively contributed to the promotion of Greek culture and tourism through exhibitions at major museums such as the Greek Cultural Institute, and international tourism fairs, as a partner of the Cultural Department of the Greek Embassy in Stockholm and the tourism fair.

In recent years, he has been living in Preveza, Greece, focusing primarily on painting.
